Key Stage 3

Students taking part in PE at Lagan College will feel that they are being given a good grounding in all the main curricular activities. They will also gain excellence by joining many of the extra- curricular clubs which are held regularly after school.

We are proud that more than half our students attend after school clubs and practices, ranging from all the main games such as football, basketball, cross country, hockey and netball, to dance and gymnastics.

Students enjoy inter-school championships, tournaments and matches and they often gain success either individually or as part of a team. Some of our students go on to represent their county or district or even compete at international level. This year we had a number of students who went on to represent their country in various sports. We have a thriving House System that is used for intra-school matches and for our magnificent Sports Day, yearly at the Mary Peter’s track.
